Lingenbrink Orthodontics says "Thank You"
Lingenbrink Orthodontics likes to say "thank you" to the community by supporting a good cause. This year we are giving you the opportunity to choose a charity to which our office will donate. Post to our facebook page a charity that is dear to you. If you would like, post some information and a link to their website. This will then be posted to our blog with a list of nominated charities. The winner will be selected by the most "likes." The winning charity will be announced December 30, 2011.
Some charities that have already been nominated:
Relay For Life
We have a family relay for life team @ South Kitsap relay. We relay to raise money for cancer research, it became our focus as a family when we lost my mother to cancer and my father in law (our team is named after them, CJ). We refocused our efforts more strongly when my 23 year old niece was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma, there is no stage 5. We are determined to keep fighting for a cure, it IS something we CAN do, one day we will win. Until then we will keep HOPE, because we CARE to do our part.

Relay For Life
I also have a Relay for Life team! The ACS is a very valuable resource to patients while in treatment (found out first hand). They also put a lot of money into research for a cure. Locally, teams like mine and others bring awareness and a sense of community while rallying around a desire to cure this awful disease that has affected nearly everyone in some way.
Hospice of Kitsap County.
-Jon Handel
Kitsap Foster care Associations DREAM project.
The DREAM project grants 1 wish per year to each foster child such as sports gear, sports fees, school dance tickets, swim lessons, dance class, senior portraits etc. The more memories we can provide for all of OUR kids the better. Every foster child deserves extras that not all families are able to afford. Like this so Lingenbrink Orthodontics can help wishes come true for kids in foster care... :)

Local/general charity
I have encountered a lot of homeless people recently.. not just individuals but families. My oldest daughter student teaches at a local elementary school and she has had a couple of students in her class that have been living with their families in vehicles until some sort of assistance comes threw. So my proposal is to help feed and keep some of these families warm. Also maybe help provide some Christmas gifts to children that probably wont get anything. Maybe this assistance can be given to Helpline or any of the other food banks/ shelters in the area. Maybe as far as gifts go how about a "giving tree" that these food banks could assist us with, where us as patients could pick a name off of the tree and buy gifts for these ever so needy children.. that organization would more then likely pick up these gifts or I am sure we could get someone to drop them off.. heck I would help with these efforts. There are too many people suffering due to the economy and any help would be I am sure greatly received.

Invisalign at Lingenbrink Orthodontics
Invisalign at Lingenbrink Orthodontics
Invisalign has become the future of braces. Dr. Paul Lingenbrink is a Premier Preferred Provider of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, which means he is in the top five percent of Invisalign providers in the nation!
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners made for you and only you. These aligners are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently lift your teeth into place, based on the exact movement Dr. Paul Lingenbrink plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you've always wanted. The best part about the whole process is that people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
The Facts
Removable: You can still eat and drink what you want.
Better Oral Hygiene: You can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth.
Comfortable: There are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.
Invisalign for Adults and Teens
Choosing to straighten your teeth is a big decision that affects not only your appearance, but your lifestyle as well. As an adult, you may be looking to improve your smile for business or social reasons. Or perhaps you’re a teen or a parent of a teen hoping to make the best of an inevitable situation. Either way, Invisalign can provide a simple way to accomplish this.
Cost
We don't want the investment to prevent you from having the smile you have always wanted. During the initial exam, Dr. Lingenbrink will determine the complexity of your case, the estimated length of treatment, and the investment for treatment. We offer a variety of payment options to suit your individual needs. All of this will be discussed during your complimentary exam.
